ARG EXPERIENCE
Presented for Wild Rift
The 2023 Power Spike event was developed to house both an ARG and a community showcase, including custom scrolling animations built with RIVE animation software. Visitors can collect discoverable evidence scattered within the user-submitted content, unlocking access to case files and an interactive “i-spy” game.
Halfway through the event a takeover occurs plunging the site into chaos and encouraging visitors to solve the case.
Responsibilities included building site wireframes, adapting a custom-themed user interface, and managing site assets across desktop and mobile. All text and assets were localized into all major languages

Learnings
& Process
The Power Spike event site was developed to feel tactile and trendy. The choice to include the “evidence” into the UGC carousel was made to enforce the feeling of discoverability and streamline the user into the ARG aspect of the experience. The experience successfully hosted and received over a thousand unique UGC submissions, submitted through the site’s built-in submission system.
The integration of the Rive software provided useful flexibility for dev and design to collaborate and implement animations on this site and going forward.
